Global Project Map

Recently it dawned on me that 2023 marks the 50th anniversary of my first public art project. This spawned the idea of creating a map of all the public art projects in which I’ve participated. It turns out there have been more than a hundred and thirty throughout the United States and around the world. Yikes! This is in addition to scores of residential commissions not represented on the map.

Truth is, not all hundred and thirty-some projects actually exist. Some have been removed over the decades as buildings changed ownership or were renovated. Some never got built in the first place because my proposals didn’t win their competitions. But I have included all of them, regardless of current disposition, simply to create a record of both the successes and the frustrations.  Clicking on the dots brings up images and information.
